About Pavilion North Church

VISION

God has established our church in this area to be a place of refuge and salvation. In scripture, the word Pavilion is defined as a place where the presence of God dwells. In His presence, we can be transformed and find everything we need to live the abundant life Jesus came to give us. Our prayer is that every person that enters through our doors can experience the grace, power, and love of Jesus Christ in a new way.

MISSION

The mission of Pavilion North is to be a place where the saving grace of Jesus Christ transforms lives. We do this by helping people grow in their relationship with God, achieve freedom, and fulfill their purpose in serving others.

VALUES

Love – The greatest commandment is to Love God & Love People (Mark 12:30,31)

Prayer – My house shall be called a house of Prayer. (Luke 19:46)

Grace – We are saved by grace through faith. (Ephesians 2:8)

Faith – Faith is confidence in what we hope for. (Hebrews 11:1)

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

The Holy Bible – The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. Jesus Christ – Jesus Christ was 100% God and 100% man. He is the visible manifestation of the invisible God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, preached the Kingdom of God, died on the cross for all humanity, and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in power and glory. Salvation – We are saved by grace through faith. It is the gift of God that enables us to receive salvation through active obedience to the Word of God, not a result of good works or human efforts alone. Repentance is the act of faith whereby we identify with the death of Jesus Christ by living in obedience to the Scriptures and asking the Lord for His will to be done, not ours. Baptism – Baptism in Jesus’ Name is how we are commanded to identify with Christ in His burial. In complete immersion of the waters of baptism, the blood of Jesus Christ is applied to our lives and washes away our sins. Holy Spirit – Given on the day of Pentecost, it is the promise of God to those first in the upper room who obeyed the commandment of Jesus by waiting for the gift in Jerusalem. Following the initial outpouring, the Holy Spirit empowered the early church to preach Jesus to all nations and become His witnesses in the earth. Today the Lord is still pouring out His Spirit to all believers who would repent, pursue God, and surrender their hearts to Jesus by calling upon the Name of the Lord. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us into all truth and righteousness to know God and serve others by using the gifts He gives. Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we identify with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, being made alive in Him, and become the children of God. Church – The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission. The church is made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and calling of the Holy Spirit. Prayer – We believe there is nothing more valuable than prayer. Without prayer, the believer has no connection to God. Our communication with Him, through the Holy Spirit, aligns our vision with His. It is written in Scripture that His house shall be called a house of prayer. Second Coming – We believe the Lord Jesus Christ will return just as He promised and will rule and reign with all who belong to Him. History will conclude as the wicked are judged and the righteous enter a new heaven, and a new earth, forever to be with the Lord.
